I am a Diabetic and it is hard to find chocolate Candy or desserts with low sugar in it. So I went looking up different desserts receipes with low sugar in it. I hope that you will enjoy some of these reciepes just as much as I have. You can even enjoy these desserts with a glass of wine, That you had with your Supper meal.
Here a few of the Diabetic desserts I have found for myself and other diabetics that enjoy chocolate as much as I do.
Minty Chocolate Swirl
Layers upon layers of creamy chocolate pudding, whipped topping and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate mint patties…sure sounds like something you wouldn’t expect to find in a recipe for diabetic desserts. But no worries… ’cause our Test Kitchen tweaked this scrumptious treat, and now you can enjoy it too!
What You’ll Need
- 1 box (1-ounce) sugar-free instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups fat-free milk
- 3/4 cup reduced-fat whipped topping, thawed
- 4 sugar-free mint patties, chopped
What to Do
- Prepare pudding according to package directions. Refrigerate for at least 10 minutes.
- Layer 2 tablespoons pudding into 6 small glasses or custard cups. Add 1 tablespoon whipped topping and half of one mint patty. Spoon in 2 more tablespoons of pudding, 1 tablespoon whipped topping and remaining half of mint patty.
- Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.

Gooey Double-Chocolate Brownies
This quick and easy recipe for dibetic desserts becomes even more special ! When you serve it with a small scoop of low-fat frozen yogurt, berries, and chocolate sauce. Makes 24 brownies. Prep Time: 25 minutes. Cook Time: 30 minutes.
Here are the mesurments for all the ingredents.
you need a 1/2 cup of butter at room temperature
then you need 1 1/3 cups of semisweet chocolate, chopped
2 eggs
1 cup of superfine sugar (one you would like to use if your a diabetic)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup of all-purpose flour
then 2 tbsp. unsweetened Cocoa powder (one for diabetes )
1 cup of walnuts, Roghly chopped (or fine if you like them that way. this ingredent is optional)
Then how to make these Gooey brownies that everone enjoys to eat.
1. Grease 8-by-8-inch cake pan and line with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter and 3/4 cup chocolate in bowl set over gently simmering water or in the microwave; remove from heat and let cool.
2. Then Whisk eggs in bowl with electric beaters. Also Gradually add sugar; beat continuously until mixture is thick and foamy and leaves ribbonlike trail when beaters are lifted. Add vanilla extract and chocolate mixture, and blend thoroughly. Sift flour and cocoa powder over mixture and scatter in walnuts, if using, and remaining chocolate. Fold mixture together with large spoon.
3. Pour batter into pan and bake about 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. If top starts to look like it might burn before brownies are cooked through, place a piece of foil over pan. Also Cool brownies briefly in pan then cut into 24 squares. Then Cool brownies completely on wire rack. Finally Store in airtight container for 3 to 4 days.
Then you will enjoy shareing them with your friends and family alone with the fine wine that you enjoy drinking with them.
